Where did the summer go? I am hearing that question a lot. Summer can somehow seem `endless` since we have such different rhythms to our days, whether we have children or are simply gearing up to the Fall busy schedules all around us. The energy is different.
This is another podcast from the Design Your Days team, Sue West and Carol Williams. We want to assist you in RE-Designing your Fall. We have 4 tips today.
Last podcast we talked about the `Summer Shoulds.` We talked about how to re-frame those summer days, to determine what you really want.
Now, we are wrapping up summer and looking at Fall. The back to school ads are out in full swing, and the August air brings a twinge of a chill into the air. Thoughts turn to sweaters, college freshmen and seniors leaving us, soccer, and Halloween. Perhaps this impending season change evokes a feeling a sense of a new start.
We have 4 tips for you today to help you with this transition. We`ll look at what gets in your way of a Fall that works for YOU.
Our 4 tips cover:
- Losing your adult children to college or to their first apartment.
- Younger ones – `Don`t forget soccer.`
- If you have ADHD, transitions into different seasons.
- And plan for when the younger children get sick and you’re trying to balance it all.
