A perfect day: my favorite book (mine!), my favorite wine (Labelle Winery, Amherst, NH), my favorite restaurant hosting (The Black Forest), and family and close friends. Add to that some clients, workshop attendees, colleagues and new people I’d never met who attended my afternoon book signing. And if you’ve read my blog lately, you’ll recall the vision board, which got me here! My first book signing on the day of a celebration launching my book.
A few photos tell the story.
Starting off = a date with my favorite hair dresser, who makes me feel great! Lisa DeBeradinis in Milford. Recommended by a friend years ago. Great at what she does and balances it all with being a mom. (Contact Lisa D at Stephen Marx Salon, 603-673-6279). Wearing the color and the necklace that always help me shine!
The afternoon – book signing! I got by a with a lot of help from my friends – The Black Forest put us right out front as you walked in the door.
And thanks very much to those of you who shared the event, online, through my newsletter or blog or via newspapers!
I loved asking about and hearing people’s reasons for stopping by. I had some interesting, organizing-related conversations that afternoon.
Pictured below are those on my table team, Donna and William. William was curious, polite, and figured out how to do some math practice while we worked. He volunteered to help his aunt pack us up at the end of the day, too, when we headed upstairs for our book launch party. His brothers were at my house, taking care of all the adults and dogs staying with us for Thanksgiving weekend!
The signing was three hours, followed by our celebration upstairs …. in our lovely function room, upstairs at The Black Forest. My favorite wines are from Labelle Winery, here in Amherst New Hampshire.
On the menu of wines we offered our guests The Black Forest added a surprise – a watermark in the background which was my book cover! Very nice touch.

Thanks for all your support and sharing .
Will you continue with me on the thousand mile journey?
