Be Bolder. Answer These 3 Questions to Start.

Be Bold. Bolder Than You Think You Can. Here’s How.   The kind of bold I’m talking about looks like this. You may have read the full article earlier this year about what to do with this feeling like you’re not stepping up often enough. If you’re not on the newsletter list, or if you’d simply prefer to watch and listen, I’ve also created these 3 short videos below on becoming more bold. Let me set the stage a little bit first for you.

Be bolder:  This is what it looks like.

The person who stepped aside from a well-paying, career role because it kept him away from his family too often. Time was slipping by. You know that feeling.

  • It’s the person with a mid-life health issue who decides to let go of a volunteer commitment [or two]. Something has to go. And so it does. Less stress. More time for what’s important. Including taking care of herself.
  • Or the one who wants to “be” simply the daughter and not the primary caregiver. She researches services and presents them as something “I” need for “my life.”
  • The self-employed business owner who invests in herself, upgrading her knowledge and skills, to create a business she is proud of. One which her children and spouse will be proud of.

These are the most difficult of bold decisions, because they pit our emotions against career, purpose and/or family.  These aren’t facts and figure decisions we can boldly make if we’re a leader in our business or at our workplace. Facts and figures, with some subjectivity, sure. But compare that to what these people did to make their decisions. Far different.

Could you make these kinds of bold decisions?  How would you?

Do you feel bold? Can you answer these questions for yourself?

If not, take heart because it really IS difficult.

If you’d like to figure it out and aren’t sure where to turn, contact me to see about working together and how this could work for you.
